Rates tab in people profiles
With the release of Smart insights, a dedicated Rates tab has been added to the people profile. Rate information previously available in the Info tab has moved there. The Rates tab shows the role rates assigned to a person and lets you set personal-level rate overrides. Learn more.
Zapier: Create projects from a template
You can now create projects from a template directly in Zapier. Select a template from your Float instance, set a project code and start date, and merge in other project data from a third-party system to create a ready-to-schedule project. Learn more.
People code
A people_code field is now available via the API and CSV import/export. It works the same way as project_code for projects: you can store an external identifier against a person in Float—such as an employee ID from an HR or CRM system—and use it to look up their Float people_id without maintaining a separate mapping table.
