Meet multi-select: A faster way to move work when plans change

Plans shift. Priorities move. Your schedule should be just as quick to adjust. Multi-select provides a simple way to move multiple allocations at once, ensuring your resourcing stays accurate without slowing you down.

It’s a small but mighty improvement designed to save you time when you’re juggling multiple updates.

To activate multi-select, hold shift until the crosshairs appear, then drag across the schedule (or click allocations individually) to highlight a group in one go. Anything you can’t change appears greyed out and you won’t be able to select it. Each allocation stays with the same person as it moves, so nothing gets reassigned incorrectly.

Pro tip: for even more control, pair multi-select with filters to isolate specific projects or clients before you make your move.

Stay agile, keep moving

Multi-select is great for situations when:

  • Someone on your team needs to take unplanned time off? Easy. Instead of adjusting each of their allocations individually, you open their schedule, hold shift, and drag to select all upcoming work at once. You move the full group ahead a week or two. Their time instantly clears, and your project timelines stay organized.
  • Has a client review been delayed, so your project timeline needs to shift? You can filter the schedule by project. Use multi-select to highlight all related allocations in a single sweep, then shift them to match the new dates. The entire plan updates in seconds!
