Calendar event statuses, adding allocations, and project update improvements

Improvements
Calendar integrations: synced statuses, hours, and links
Allocations and time off entered in Float with a specific time, such as 1 to 2 pm, and time off that covers a full day sync to Google and Outlook Calendars as Busy, so your team knows you’re unavailable. Anything booked for non-specific hours, like four hours on Thursday, syncs as an all-day event marked Free, so it shows on your calendar without blocking your day. Event titles now include the daily hour count for allocations and partial-day time off, and each event links to the exact allocation or time off in Float. Learn more.
Remembered allocation input type
When you create an allocation, Float now remembers the input type you used last: hours, percentage, or specific time. For quicker scheduling, your next new allocation opens with that type already selected, so you only need to enter the value. You can still switch input types whenever you need to. Learn more.
Save projects without entering bill rates
You can now create and update fixed fee or time & materials projects without entering bill rates. Float still shows a warning in the project side panel with the number of team members who need a rate, so you can add them when you’re ready. In the single project view, you’ll also see a missing rate warning with an option to add it. While bill rates remain optional, adding them keeps your margins and reporting figures accurate.
